Eight artists have made it to the live final of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition.
The finalists have beaten thousands of initial entries, which was initially whittled down by the UK’s top thirty music bloggers and then by a team at Worthy Farm HQ.
Now the eight names including Che Lingo, iiola, LIINES, Marie White, Roma Palace, Shunaii, Swimming Girls and YAMAYA will all perform at Pilton Working Men’s Club on April 27 which will be live streamed through the Glastonbury website.
The winners of the free-to-enter competition will also be rewarded with a mainstage slot at this year’s festival and also receive a £5000 PRS Talent Development prize.
In recent years the competition has played a pivotal role in the trajectory of artists such as Declan McKenna, She Drew The Gun, Izzy Bizu, Flohio and more.
