New Music Of The Day: Public Memory – Ringleader (NME Premiere)

The solo project of former Eraas man Robert Toher, Public Memory recorded Ringleader while in LA – away from Toher’s actual home of Brooklyn. Evidently, he let none of the day-glo, sunshine vibe of California get in any way close to him while in the studio there.

Darkness prevails on the track, like Massive Attack’s ghoulish ‘Risingson’ given a makeover by Pure X. The track is taken from the just-announced album Wuthering Drum, to be released on March 18 on Felte Records.
