Radar’s Top 25 New Acts You Need To Hear

Welcome, one and all, to the latest NME Radar Mixtape! We’ve compiled tracks by 25 of the new acts we’re most excited about right now for your listening pleasure – so please scroll down now to have a gander.

The acts we’ve chosen range from those who’ve already been featured in NME’s Radar pages (such as Minneapolis newbies Howler, and ELO-meets-Nirvana oiks Gross Magic), to those who, if all continues to go well, are in with a rather good chance of being featured in future.

My personal favourites include Liverpool weirdos – in the nicest possible sense – Outfit, who’ve given us the exclusive first listen to their new b-side ‘Vehicles’, Sacremento hip-hop collective Death Grips and Leeds newcomers This Many Boyfriends. Check their shoutabout anthem ‘Young Lovers Go Pop!’ to see why they’re being hailed as the new Cribs.

There’s also their fellow city dwellers Eagulls (pictured above), who’ve given us another exclusive – the frankly pulverising ‘Possessed’ – and London’s Childhood (with the brilliantly gloomy ‘Blue Velvet’), 2:54 (‘On A Wire’) and Fractures (‘Alone’).

Ah, enough words… just listen to the damn thing and let us what you think, who you like and what other bands shudda made the cut in the comments box below.
