On a recent blog, ‘Game of Thrones’ creator George R.R. Martin has summed up what a lot of fans are feeling right now regarding ‘Elden Ring’. He says that the wait is over, years in the making, the game has been released, and it’s taking the gaming world by storm, with NME giving it the full five stars in it’s review, and he says he’s honoured to have been a part of it.
February is the start of a huge month for games. With ‘Dying Light 2’ already out, ‘Horizon Forbidden West’ coming soon, a plethora of other titles before the month is capped off by ‘Elden Ring’, one of the most anticipated titles in a long time. The thing is, ‘Elden Ring’ was originally due to have already been released by now, but it was delayed, and director Hidetaka Miyazaki has explained why in an interview with Edge magazine.
We are getting ever closer to the ‘Elden Ring’ release date of February 25th, and as such the developer FromSoftware is starting to talk more about the title, to aid the marketing push. It may not be the PC or PS5 version of ‘Bloodborne’ that everyone seems to be wanting, but it does seem we’ll have a new version of the beloved FromSoftware title to play through soon, as a PlayStation One demake take on the classic is coming to PC at the end of January 2022.
It may not come as a huge surprise, but FromSoftware, the developer behind titles such as ‘Dark Souls’, ‘Bloodborne’, and ‘Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice’ has announced a delay to one of the most hyped games around right now. ‘Elden Ring’ won’t be coming out in January 2022 now, as the team needs a bit longer to polish the game up.
Until the recent trailer, developer FromSoftware’s ‘Elden Ring’ was shrouded in mystery, but also plagued by multiple leakes. A single trailer seemed to get out there, and it was poured over by fans of the genre. But it seems that ‘Elden Ring’ will be making another appearance very soon at Gamescom’s opening night live event.
