A UK Garage brunch is coming to London and it sounds incredible

"Prepare to be transported back to 1998..."

A UK Garage brunch is coming to Camden in north London next year.

Billed as the “rowdiest brunch this side of the Watford Gap”, the event will be hosted by a gaggle of UK garage DJs: The Artful Dodger, DJ Cartier and MC DT. It will take place at Proud Camden on February 3.

Guests will be served bottomless fried chicken wings and thighs supplied by BIRD followed by doughnuts and chocolate brownies. “The brownies, of course, will be sweet like chocolate,” say organisers.

Bottomless rum punch and brandy & cokes will also be served from the bar. Vegetarian options and other drinks will be available on the day, too.

“Once ticket holders have had their fill,” organisers say, “UK Garage karaoke, dance-offs, rap battles and garage themed prize draws will be part of the immersive entertainment at the brunch.”

They add: “A fully choreographed stage show will follow amongst other surprises on the day.”

The dress code is described as “late 90s UKG bling”, so organisers recommend guests “dust off your Versace belt and your Moschino shirt and prepare to be transported back to 1998”.

Tickets are priced at £30 including all food and drink. They’re available via the event’s Facebook page.
