The new update is part of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare season six and will run from October 20 to November 3. The event will introduce a slew of new content, including skins based on iconic horror movie characters, as previously reported.
The Haunting Of Verdansk will feature crossovers with the Saw and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film franchises. The Saw bundle features a Billy The Puppet skin and The Phlebotomozier Lethal Equipment, a special throwing knife that will “drill into your enemies upon impact”, according to the developer. The pack also includes Saw-themed blueprints, charms and more.
On the other hand, the bundle for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will grant players access to a Leatherface skin. Unique for the package is a custom ‘Family Heirloom’ LMG that doubles up as a chainsaw. Multiple other items and customisable skins will also be bundled within.
Call Of Duty: Warzone will also feature a new Trick Or Treat reward system, wither specially marked supply boxes that will contain either “frights or frighteningly good blueprints and personalization items”. Players that manage to collects all 16 individual rewards from the supply boxes will also be given the ‘The Pumpkin Punisher’ assault rifle blueprint.
A night-time version of Warzone will also be made available, alongside a new mode called Zombie Royale. It will allow dead players to return to the game with “unnatural powers”, such as increased speed and improved jumps, and fight for the change to rejoin the game as a human soldier.

Multiple limited-time modes will also run for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare during The Haunting Of Verdansk: Onslaughter, which will spawn a Juggernaut suit into the map and players must fight to obtain it and deliver it to a specific area; Snipers Only is as the name suggests, and adds five pre-built sniper loadouts for players to use.
Finally, a new shotgun known as the JAK-12 has been added, which is a fully automatic weapon and is said to contain the largest magazine capacity of any shotgun in the game. Read more about The Haunting Of Verdansk update here.
