‘Far Cry 6’ delayed to make it a game players will “aspire to play”

‘Rainbow Six Quarantine’ has also reportedly been delayed

Ubisoft has delayed Far Cry 6 to allow the team more time to work on the game and focus on well-being of its staff.

The game was originally set to release on February 18, 2021, but has since been pushed back. The company confirmed the delay with a statement on Twitter, after Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine were reportedly said to be delayed according to the company’s Q2 earnings report.

“While we know you are all anxious to get your hands on Far Cry 6, we want to let you know we’ve been given more time to allow us to make this the game you inspire to play while focusing on the well-being of our teams in this unprecedented global context,” Ubisoft said. “Our teams around the world are working in the studios and from their homes to pour their passion and creativity into making an unforgettable game – one we hope you will love.”
