The track, which dropped today (December 17), will be followed with an accompanying music video, which is expected to drop soon.
The emotive Mandarin song features both Wang and Lin duetting with one another, recalling memories of past relationships that should’ve ended earlier than they really did. Listen to ‘過 Should’ve Let Go’ below.
Wang took to Instagram to share more about the song and thank Lin in a message: “Thankful for what happened in the past, and grateful for the process. This is our story, hope you guys like it.”
Addressing Lin, he wrote, “Besides music, I’m thankful for what you’ve taught me in this journey of life.”
The music video, which has been teased on social media and hinted at in the single art, features both singers in a bus as rain falls. Much like the theme of the song, the video will feature flashbacks to their younger selves in relationships.
