Filipino radio station Wish FM 107.5 has announced the performers for its sixth Wish Music Awards, happening later this month.
The lineup includes singer KZ Tandingan, rapper Gloc-9, duo Leanne & Naara, P-pop group SB19, rock band Parokya Ni Edgar and many more. The event will be hosted by singer Christian Bautista and TV personality Gretchen Ho.
The event will be live-streamed from the Smart-Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Wish’s Facebook page on January 17.

Several of the performers have released music in 2020, including Leanne & Naara who dropped their debut album ‘Daybreak’ in November. SB19 also released their debut album ‘Get In The Zone’, as well as their short Christmas film Ex-Mas last year. Meanwhile, KZ Tandingan revealed her marriage to fellow musician TJ Monterde in the music video for ‘Can’t Wait To Say I Do’.
Leanne & Naara are also nominated for Contemporary Folk Song Of The Year for ‘Evergreen’ and Song Collaboration of The Year for ‘Habangbuhay’ with Noel Cabangon. On the other hand, SB19 are up for three awards including Group Of The Year, Pop Performance Of The Year and Pop Song Of The Year for ‘Love Goes’.
This year’s Wish Music Awards has a total of 70 nominations in 20 musical categories, including Artist Of The Year, Group Of The Year and Quarantine-Produced Song. The winners will be determined based on votes from listeners and a panel of judges. Public voting closes on January 15.
