Malaysian singer-songwriter Noh Salleh has shared a new live performance of Hujan’s ‘Kau Harus Ada’ to raise funds for mental health support in Malaysia.
The Hujan frontman took to Instagram on Monday, January 11 to share a solo acoustic rendition of the 2009 ‘Mencari Konklusi’ cut. Noh Salleh was participating in the Let’s Rise For Mental Health campaign organised by Malaysia’s Mental Illness Awareness and Support Association (MIASA).
In the caption, the musician encouraged fans who liked his performance to donate to MIASA. The clip shared by Noh Salleh on Instagram has garnered over 50,000 views so far. Watch it below.
MIASA Malaysia’s Let’s Rise For Mental Health campaign aims to bring awareness to the importance of mental health. Donations are encouraged, and can be transferred to MIASA Malaysia’s bank account, with donors being required to send proof of payment to +60 012-7212399 via WhatsApp.
The campaign was initially scheduled to end on January 6, but was extended till January 31 due to overwhelming support from musicians and mental health advocates. All donations will be used to sustain the organisation’s operations and upcoming projects.
