She’s Only Sixteen share five dancey remixes for ‘Broken Glass’ by Filipino artists

DMAPS, lui., Thrones., Wilson Pivot and LONER offer fresh takes on the song

Filipino indie pop band She’s Only Sixteen have dropped an EP containing five dancey remixes of their single ‘Broken Glass’.

The ‘Broken Glass Remixes EP’ contains different takes on their track by DMAPS (aka Diego Mapa of Pedicab and Tarsius), lui. (formerly known as Papa Jawnz), Thrones., Wilson Pivot, and LONER.

The EP arrived on streaming services Spotify and YouTube last Friday (January 22). Stream it below:

‘Broken Glass’ appears on the band’s EP ‘The Other Side’ alongside ‘Good Company’. The Manila-based quartet released the five-track project last November.

‘The Other Side’ is the band’s latest project and the follow-up to their 2017 full-length album ‘Whatever That Was’.

The EP, released in conjunction with She’s Only Sixteen’s 12th anniversary, made NME‘s list of the 25 best Asian albums of 2020.

“There’s an understated quality in choice tracks like ‘Good Company’ and ‘Ghost’, and where She’s Only Sixteen would have gone for loud-louder, caterwauling dynamics in earlier years, here they’ve got a newfound sublimity,” wrote NME‘s Aldus Santos.

“In essence, ‘The Other Side’ finds the band trying on the bedroom producer outfit for size, and the results are mighty refreshing.”
