The film, which was released on January 14, was heavily influenced by campursari (Javanese pop music) maestro Didi Kempot, who served as the film’s executive producer and filmed scenes for the film before his death in May 2020.
Kunto Aji performed ‘Pamer Bojo’, while Sal Priadi covered ‘Cidro’ and Sisca – who also appears in Sobat Ambyar – performed ‘Kalung Emas’. All three songs feature in the film. Watch their performances below.
In related news, singer-songwriter Kunto Aji is scheduled to perform at the virtual edition of the Jazz Goes To Campus festival next month. Prior to his cover of Didi Kempot’s ‘Pamer Bojo’, Kunto Aji’s last release was the December 2020 single, ‘Selaras’.

Sisca Saras – real name Fransisca Saraswati Puspa Dewi – is a member of Indonesian idol group JKT48. She made her solo debut in 2019 with the release of Christmas single ‘The First Noel’ and released the song’s follow-up ‘Go Tell It On The Mountain’ in December last year.
