Donny Benét announces Australian tour and new album

Benét will play a handful of Australian shows in June

Donny Benét has announced a new Australia 2020 tour, which will follow the release of his fifth studio album, ‘Mr Experience’.

Benét revealed today (March 4) that ‘Mr Experience’ hits shelves on May 22. The record, which features the singles ‘Second Dinner’ and ‘Girl Of My Dreams’, is available for pre-order and can be pre-saved on streaming services now.

Benét made the announcement with a quirky YouTube video. “I’m very pleased to announce that I’ll be releasing my new album, ‘Mr Experience’,” Benét said. “We’ll be bringing the live experience to your city in 2020.”

Benét will play three shows on the east coast of Australia in support of the album. The tour kicks off on June 12 at Brisbane’s The Zoo, before heading down to Sydney the following day. The singer wraps things up at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on June 19.

Prior to Benét’s Australian shows, the singer will perform shows across Europe in May. They include shows in Paris, London and Berlin.

Last month, the singer was added to the lineup of Bambra music festival Meadow, alongside Mr. Teenage. They join previously announced headliners Angie McMahon and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, as well as a slew of local acts.

Tickets for the Australia leg of Donny Benét’s ‘Mr Experience’ tour go on sale this Friday (March 6) at 10am ADET. They will be available via his official website.
