Running Touch tells a story of love and escapism with new single ‘Juno’

The artist has a handful of live shows planned throughout early 2021

Melbourne producer and vocalist Running Touch has released his first single for the year, ‘Juno’.

The new song brings together elements of pop and electronica, as well as a rock guitar. While it’s not a far cry from Running Touch’s previous work, ‘Juno’ does carry a heavier electro-dance beat than his more recent releases.

The single arrives alongside a lyric video, which you can watch below:

In a statement, Running Touch described the single as his “kind of escapism”. It tells the fictional story of Sandro, a young painter escaping his city and falling in love with Juno, a thief.

“I didn’t want to focus and write about what I was going through last year, so I wrote this story instead,” he said.

“Sandro’s world revolves around getting as close to Juno as he can, while trying to keep his past at bay.”

‘Juno’ follows on from Running Touch’s 2020 singles ‘Signs’ and ‘Meet Me’, in addition to a handful of others released throughout 2019.

The release of ‘Juno’ arrives ahead of Running Touch’s February show at Sidney Myer Music Bowl, alongside Northeast Party House, Kult Kyss and Adult Art Club. He will also be making appearances at the Summer Sounds, For The Love and Yours & Owls festivals.
