In keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, the gig will operate at limited capacity, with first release tickets on sale now. Tickets to the 18+ event start at $78.80 apiece.
In a statement, organisers of Regards, 2020 framed the event as a celebration of Brisbane’s efficiency at handling the coronavirus pandemic this year.
“I guess when we reflect on 2020, we have to remember the good things,” organisers wrote of the event.
“The only thing that comes to mind is the fact that Brisbane has well and truly proven true that it is well and truly the greatest city in the world.”
Regards, 2020 will be Alex Lahey’s first Australian live show since February. Nonetheless, the singer-songwriter has kept busy this year, most recently covering ‘Merry Christmas (I Don’t Want To Fight Tonight)’ by The Ramones.
