Apple Music have shared a slew of isolation playlists from Australian and New Zealand artists.

As part of the streaming service’s ‘At Home With…’ series, artists have been asked to curate a playlist of music they have been listening to while staying at home.

Among those who have provided playlists include BENEE, 5 Seconds of Summer, Tash Sultana and Amy Shark.

Several artists have used the platform to show support to their fellow countrymen. Shark, for instance, includes artists such as Ruby Gill, Ziggy Alberts and Gang Of Youths in her playlist. Of the latter, she notes that she listens to the band when she’s “on a long walk or run,” or when she “need[s] a break from listening to [her] own demos.”

BENEE, meanwhile, has shared songs from New Zealand acts such as Tiny Ruins and HEAVY CHEST. “It’s super chill,” she says of HEAVY CHEST’s single ‘Required.’

“It’s just nice to lie down and listen to – his voice is so smooth.”

Platforming Australasian artists has been a priority of the local music scene in recent months. Other initiatives have included the Isol-Aid virtual festival and the ‘Australian Music Is Bloody Great’ community radio broadcast.
