Genesis Owusu and CLYPSO are among the latest batch of artists added to Adelaide’s Summer Sounds Festival lineup.
Organisers of the 18-date concert series announced today (January 14) the addition of the Canberra rapper and the Sydney-based producer to its lineup.
NME 100 member Owusu will perform a supporting slot alongside Ruel next Thursday January 21 with CLYPSO also performing that night.
Singer-songwriters George Alice and Adelaide local Jess Day have also been added to the colossal lineup, with Alice set to perform with Lime Cordiale and Baker Boy on Sunday January 24 and Day supporting Spacey Jane and Ball Park Music on Friday January 29.
The new additions follow the festival’s initial lineup announcement that included the likes of Cub Sport, The Chats, Ocean Alley, Ruby Fields and The Veronicas among others.
Something For Kate, Allday and Bernard Fanning are among the artists who have already graced the Summer Sounds stages.

Created by Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival organisers, Summer Sounds – which runs until January 31 –was given the green light last week, though announced a number of lineup changes after South Australia imposed a hard border to New South Wales arrivals on New Year’s Day due to the multiple COVID-19 clusters across Sydney.
