George Alice, L-Fresh The Lion to play this weekend’s Isol-Aid festival

Marking the festival's first airing on TikTok

George Alice, L-FRESH The LION, The Rubens, JAYCEE and SWARÉ have been announced for the 38th instalment of live-streamed music festival Isol-Aid this coming Sunday.

The upcoming performances will mark the first time Isol-Aid will be streamed on its new home on TikTok, rather than its usual Instagram Live platform. Viewers can tune in via each artist’s TikTok handles, or on Isol-Aid’s website.

The livestream is scheduled to kick off at Isol-Aid’s TikTok page at 4.55pm AEDT for a brief welcome, followed by SWARÉ’s performance at 5pm.

Donations for the upcoming event will be entirely directed towards the performing artists and their teams.

Last week’s instalment of Isol-Aid featured performances from Baby Velvet, Clio Renner, Deborah Conway, Ella Hooper, Ella Thompson and Thando.

Yesterday, The Rubens shared ‘Masterpiece’, the latest cut from their forthcoming album, ‘0202’. The track will appear alongside previously released singles ‘Live In Life’, ‘Heavy Weather’ and ‘Time Of My Life’.

Alice released a dreamy new single, ‘Teenager’, last month, with production assistance from Japanese Wallpaper. It was paired with a nostalgic music video directed by Zoee Marsh, featuring a series of familiar classroom scenes.

L-FRESH The LION last appeared on the 35th instalment of Isol-Aid, performing alongside Alex LaheyEmily Wurramara, Romy Vager of RVG and more.
