GOT7’s BamBam releases ‘Who Are You’ with Red Velvet’s Seulgi

The follow-up to BamBam's debut mini-album ‘riBBon’

GOT7‘s BamBam has released his new single ‘Who Are You’, a collaboration with Red Velvet‘s Seulgi.

The captivating music video features the BamBam and Seulgi performing an intricate dance routine in what appears to be a crumbling throne room while dressed in all black, intercut with solo shots of the two K-pop idols lying next to mirrors.

The clip also includes scenes of BamBam exploring a maze of mirrors, located in a far-away forest. “I keep wandering and wanting you / I can’t even escape / Who are you? / You’rе like a maze / But I like you, likе to find you / I realize someone else in mind,” they sing on the chorus.

‘Who Are You’ is the follow-up to BamBam’s debut mini-album ‘riBBon’, which was released in June. That record marked his first release under new label Abyss Company, following his departure from longtime agency JYP Entertainment back in January.

At a press conference for ‘riBBon’, BamBam had shared his worries while preparing to debut as a soloist. “Since this is the first time I’ve gone solo in Korea, I wanted to show that ‘this is BamBam’,” he said. “Rather than worry about the concept, I had bigger worries about my skills.”

In a previous interview with Allure KoreaBamBam shared that he is currently focused on carrying out solo activities in South Korea first. The singer said that he wishes to be “properly recognised” in the East Asian country first before expanding overseas.

The singer also reflected on the difference in reception in both Korea and his home country of Thailand. “I can walk around [in Korea] with ease,” he noted, before adding that he “ can’t do anything in Thailand. Not even go outside the hotel.”
