Mika announces Australia and New Zealand tour dates for 2020

He hasn’t been back since 2009

Mika will finally return to Australia and New Zealand in 2020 for the Revelation Tour, more than a decade since his last concert Down Under.

The British pop musician will kick off the tour leg with his maiden New Zealand concert in Auckland on February 22. He will then follow up with three dates in Australia: Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The Brisbane and Melbourne shows are 18+, while all other shows are all ages.

Pre-sale for all dates begins December 17. Public sales begin December 19. Find more ticketing information here, and see the full list of dates and venues below.

Mika last performed in Australia in November 2009, a month after he released his sophomore album, ‘The Boy Who Knew Too Much’. He staged a concert at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and also performed on the finale of that year’s season of Australian Idol.

Mika is currently touring Europe in support of his fifth studio album, ‘My Name Is Michael Holbrook’, which he released in October. The record, which the singer told Huffpost was “written as medicine,” has spun hits like ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Tiny Love’ and ‘Ice Cream’.

Mika’s Australia/New Zealand tour dates are:

Auckland Town Hall, Auckland, New Zealand (February 22)
The Tivoli, Brisbane, Australia (February 24)
Enmore Theatre, Sydney, Australia (February 26)
The Forum, Melbourne, Australia (February 27)
