Spacey Jane and San Cisco lead inaugural Play On The Plains 2021 lineup

Taking place on the site of the Deniliquin Ute Muster

A new all ages music festival in Deniliquin has been announced, with an inaugural lineup headlined by Spacey Jane, San Cisco, Ruby Fields and more.

Play On The Plains will go down on the site of the Deniliquin Ute Muster on Sunday March 7 from 1:30pm-9:30pm AEDT. WAAX, Benny Walker and Taylah King fill out the rest of the local lineup.

Limited tickets for the festival are set to go on sale from 10:30am AEDT today (January 18) via the Play On The Plains website.

“Launching a new festival on the iconic Deni Ute Muster site has been a long-term vision,” festival general manager Vicky Lowry said in a press release.

“Play On The Plains will bring a new young genre of music to Deniliquin to be added to the long list of international and Australian artists to have graced our great stage.”

The Ute Muster was cancelled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but will return in October this year with performances from The Angels, Busby Marou, Troy Cassar-Daley and more.

Play On The Plains headliners Spacey Jane and San Cisco will also share the stage at Perth’s HyperFest over January and March.

Spacey Jane’s debut album ‘Sunlight’, arrived back in June of last year – NME recently called it one of the best Australian albums of 2020.

San Cisco will appear off the back of their fourth studio album ‘Between You And Me’, released in September last year.
