Alpine music festival Snow Machine will be launching in New Zealand this year, following its 2020 debut in Japan.
Headlining the festival will be electronic duo The Avalanches, who released their third album, ‘We Will Always Love You’, days before the end of 2020.

The festival will be held between September 8-11 in Queenstown, a resort town close to skiing attractions Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. Tickets go on sale from 12pm AEDT tomorrow (January 21), with accommodation and ski lift pass packages available.
Snow Machine organisers have promised a refund if the event is cancelled or if Australian travellers are unable to enter New Zealand by the date of the festival.
Over the weekend, 20,000 New Zealanders gathered in Waitangi for a (legal) concert held by Six60, with no social distancing required due to the country’s successful management of the virus.
The 2021 Snow Machine NZ lineup is:
Hot Dub Time Machine
Boy & Bear
Bliss N Eso
Sneaky Sound System
Late Nite Tuff Guy
