triple j Unearthed announce opportunity to collaborate with PNAU’s Nick Littlemore

Five emerging artists will have a songwriting session with the PNAU member next month

triple j Unearthed have announced their inaugural collab competition, giving emerging Australian artists the chance to work on a song with Nick Littlemore of PNAU and Empire of the Sun.

Five artists, selected by Littlemore himself, will win a songwriting session with the musician and producer in late February. The session will take place in person for those based in Sydney, and over video link for those located elsewhere.

To be in with a chance, aspiring collaborators simply have to upload their tracks to triple j Unearthed by midnight AEDT on February 7. See more details on the triple j site here.

Last month, PNAU returned with the single ‘River’, featuring Ladyhawke. It marked the first time the two acts had collaborated since their 2008 hit ‘Embrace’.

It also marked the latest in a string of collaborative singles from the electronic outfit. In 2019, PNAU shared two singles – ‘Solid Gold’ featuring Kira Divine and Marques Toliver, and ‘All of Us’, a collaboration with Ollie Gabriel.

Earlier in 2020, they released the single ‘Lucky’, which featured Vlossom – Littlemore’s collaborative project with Alister Wright of Cloud Control. The duo released their debut EP under the Vlossom name, ‘My Friend’, last year.

PNAU’s last studio album was 2017’s ‘Changa’.
