Urthboy and i.amsolo team up for new single ‘Sunrise In My Head’

From an untitled 2021 project

Urthboy has released his second official single of 2020, ‘Sunrise In My Head.’

The track, released today (September 10), follows the release of single ‘The Night Took You’ in June. It features Sydney producer i.amsolo, who also worked with Urthboy on his previous single. The track was also co-written and produced by Sulo.

The single has been accompanied by a new lyric video, created by Sydney production company Broken Yellow.

Both ‘Sunrise In My Head’ and ‘The Night Took You’ are said to be lifted from an as-yet-untitled project. The release – which will follow up 2016’s ‘The Past Beats Inside Me Like A Second Heartbeat’ – is projected for a 2021 release.

To promote the single, Urthboy and co-workers from his label Elefant Traks went live on Instagram this morning as the sun rose in Sydney.

Label-mates such as L-FRESH The LION and Okenyo also showed their support via their own Instagram stories, playing the song while watching the sunrise.

Urthboy shared two remixes of ‘The Night Took You’ last month. Singer-songwriter Joyride and Sydney collective BoomChild each respectively took on the song, the former of which was given its own music video.

i.amsolo, meanwhile, has teased more new music earlier this week via a two-minute video on IGTV. The video depicts the producer working in the studio.

“I missed you,” the caption read. “I promise I was working.”
