Dylan’s making sure he’s not on the naughty list. So am I. Good work everyone waiting in line to get tested, wearing masks and making the effort to keep us all safe. Means more of us can see our families for Christmas. Remember to check in with the lonely ones. Here’s a little cheer from us

As he introduced the performance, Jimmy Barnes revealed plans to cover more festive tunes throughout the holiday period. He dedicated the first video to those spending Christmas by themselves as a result of COVID-19 restrictions.

“We wanted to say a big shoutout to all the people in New South Wales, especially everybody who went and got tested, everybody who’s wearing masks. We’ve got to do the right thing [and] lock this down,” Barnes said in the clip.

“Over the next few days, we’re going to try and do a few carols. This one we’re going to send out to all the people who are going to spend Christmas maybe locked away by themselves who won’t be with the ones they love.”
