Watch Kimbra perform unreleased track ‘Save Me’ on Instagram

"It's one of the most honest pieces I've ever written"

Kimbra has taken to Instagram to share a new song ‘Save Me’, using archived footage of a performance filmed last year.

Filmed as part of Kimbra’s performance during New York City venue (Le) Poisson Rouge’s live-streamed concert series last year, the New Zealand-born artist described the song as “one of the most honest pieces” she’s ever written.

“Being on stage again during this tumultuous year was such a release and a deep way to share my joy, pain and longing,” she wrote on Instagram.

She later wrote that “ was so freeing to sing it for this LPR Livestream Concert. Let’s hope the next time I sing this, we’ll all be in person again.”
