Fremantle four-piece Spacey Jane have shared a new live video which sees them performing their single ‘Booster Seat’ at a recent hometown show.
The footage was captured by Daniel Hildebrand (who also edited the clip), Saxon Wright and Harry Goodlet during the band’s headline show at Fremantle Arts Centre on New Year’s Eve 2020. They were joined on the evening by Carla Geneve and Supathick.

‘Booster Seat’ is taken from Spacey Jane’s debut album ‘Sunlight’, which arrived back in June of last year – and which NME recently called one of the best Australian albums of 2020.
In a four-star review of the album last year, NME praised the band for their ability to pair their big, anthemic garage rock with genuine vulnerability – with a tracklist boasting “festival-ready songs that embrace a freewheeling joy”.
“As huge as Spacey Jane sound on ‘Sunlight’, it’s never at the expense of their heartfelt honesty. All the jagged edges of conflicting genres are somehow smoothed out under their command and there’s not a moment of their ambitious vision that feels uncomfortable.”
