Tones And I has also shared an alternate version of the single to streaming services today (December 4), which you can hear below.

The singer released the original track last month, which arrived alongside a cinematic video clip.

Speaking of the song in a press release, Tones And I, real name Toni Watson, said “It’s about genuine happiness and what we think we need to have happiness versus what we actually want.”

“The truth is we only ever want anything because we think it will make us happy, but it’s never that simple.”

She also performed the single on ABC’s The Sound in late November, alongside G FlipAdrian Eagle, the Pierce Brothers, Alice Blake Music and the Melbourne Gospel Choir.

Watson was recently named as one of the most-streamed Spotify artists in Australia this year, alongside the late Juice WRLD and The Weeknd. Her single ‘Dance Monkey’ was crowned the second most-streamed song on the platform, as well as the most-streamed song by a female artist globally.
