Kelly’s seminal classic was released in 1996 on a four-track EP of the same name. ‘How To Make Gravy’ was inspired by a character named Joe, who’s stuck in prison over Christmas.

Unseen footage of Kelly performing the song was aired on The Sound: Making Gravy Christmas Special last night, filmed at Sydney’s Domain last year.
