2018 is a fallow year for the festival so the next Glastonbury isn’t until 2019. The dates have been confirmed as June 26-30th 2019.
Where is Glastonbury held?
Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset
Notorious for hosting some of the biggest and most aspiring names in music, Glastonbury Festival takes place over a 5-day period, come rain or shine, down in Pilton, Somerset as it has done for the past 46 years. The festival is also home to a wide variety of acts; from circus to comedy as well as a plethora of different artists spanning multiple genres.
2017 saw a gigantic trio of headliners taking over Worthy Farm and a genre-spanning lineup. Foo Fighters, Radiohead and Ed Sheeran took to the stage with Kris Kristoffersen in the legends slot. Other notable sets came from Dizzee Rascal, London Grammar, Lorde, Katy Perry and BBK.
We’ve had the first 2019 headliner announcement: Stormzy, which got a mixed response from festival-goers. Rumour has it more will be announced imminently. Tickets are now sold out but there is a re-sale in the spring. Watch this space for more info on how to get tickets if you missed out first time around.
