Along with a full weekend of music, the festival is also set to extend its reputation as one of the summer’s cultural highlights – with a full programme of comedy and literary performances.
But as Britain continues to bathe in sunshine, it’s worth double checking if the warm weather will continue – or if wellies are very much advisable.
Here’s the whole forecast for the weekend, according to BBC Weather.
- Friday 13 July: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze is expected. Highs of 23C and lows of 12C
- Saturday 14 July: Sunny and a gentle breeze. Highs of 25C and lows of 15C
- Sunday 15 July: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Highs of 27C and lows of 16C.
In short, rain is looking unlikely, thankfully. That said, we all know how British weather can be in the evenings – so still pack a jumper.
Earlier today, it was confirmed that Latitude will be screening both the third place play-off and the World Cup final on the big screen on the Film and Music Stage.
If England make it to the final, the match will then be shown on big screens throughout the festival site.
The festival also recently confirmed a secret set from an “iconic artist”.
