NME Breakthrough‘s competition to find a new band to play the Main Stage at Lovebox festival alongside the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Hot Chip and Mystery Jets is entering its final stages.
The festival takes place in London‘s Victoria Park on 16-18 July, and the competition to find an NME Breakthrough band to play it closes next Monday (June 7).
To enter your band into the competition simply create an NME Breakthrough profile at Music.nme.com.
NME Radar Editor Jaimie Hodgson, who is a competition judge, praised the calibre of acts who have entered so far.
“We’ve so far seen a really diverse selection of really talented artists coming through the NME Breakthrough ranks, encouraged no doubt by the opportunity to be playing mainstage at one of the UK’s most acclaimed festivals,” he said. “Whittling down a final short list is going to be a tough task. “
Following the closing date of the competition, the judging panel will shortlist their favourite artists before the top five get put to the public vote on Lovebox‘s Facebook page.
