Last Shadow Puppets and LCD Soundsystem lead latest Open’er line-up additions

At The Drive-In, The 1975 and Bastille will also appear at Polish event

LCD Soundsystem and The Last Shadow Puppets have been added to the line-up for Poland’s Open’er festival this summer.

Alex Turner and Miles Kane’s band will appear at the festival on June 29 while James Murphy’s returning New York act will continue their reunion tour with a co-headline set in Gdynia on July 1.

Also joining the bill for Open’er today are At The Drive-In, The 1975 and Bastille. At The Drive-In recently announced plans for their first gigs since 2012 and will also release a new album later this year.

Meanwhile, The 1975 release new album ‘I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It’ in February.


Open’er takes place in Gdynia, Poland from June 29-July 2. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Florence + The Machine are among the headliners for 2016.

Tame Impala will perform on Wednesday, June 29, alongside The Last Shadow Puppets, PJ Harvey and Florence + The Machine. Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline on Thursday, June 30 and Chvrches play on Saturday, July 2.

Open’er was headlined by Drake, Mumford and Sons, The Libertines and Kasabian in 2015 on a bill that also included Alt-J, A$AP Rocky, Alabama Shakes, Major Lazer, Disclosure, Years & Years, St. Vincent, The Vaccines, The Prodigy and more.

Fan tickets and early bird are now sold out, but regular tickets for the 2016 festival are on sale now.
