Alec Baldwin drops out of ‘Men In Black 3’

Acting legend will no longer appear in sci-fi three-quel

Alec Baldwin has dropped out of the forthcoming Men In Black 3 film.

The 30 Rock star had been widely tipped to appear in the Will Smith-starring sci-fi sequel. But yesterday (March 15) he confirmed to New York Magazine that he is officially off the project.

“I’m not doing that,” he said. “I’m out of it; the schedule didn’t work out.”

Baldwin will, however, appear in the Adam Shankman-directed Rock Of Ages as a washed-up rock star, opposite Tom Cruise. He is currently playing satirical NBC boss Jack Donaghy in 30 Rock, airing in the UK on the Comedy Central channel on Thursdays.
