‘Apollo 13’ actors join ‘Batman: The Dark Knight Rises’ cast

Chris Ellis and Bret Cullen join the cast in minor roles

The cast list for The Dark Knight Rises is growing, with the addition of two more names.

Chris Ellis and Bret Cullen are the latest to sign on for Christopher Nolan‘s third and final Batman movie, in minor roles. The actors both previously appeared together in Apollo 13.

Ellis will be playing a priest and Cullen will take on the role of a judge in the new film, according to Variety.

The Dark Knight Rises finally began shooting in London earlier this month, and the extensive shoot will reportedly see production travel to locations in India, Romania, Los Angeles and Pittsburgh.

Christian Bale and Gary Oldman will their roles as Batman and Commissioner Gordon for a third time. Anne Hathaway will star as Catwoman and Tom Hardy will portray the villainous Bane. Other names confirmed include Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juno Temple and Marion Cotillard.
