Actor to reunite with 'The Assassination Of Jesse James' director
Brad Pitt has signed on to star in Cogan’s Trade, which tells the story of a gangland enforcer.
Scenelouisiana.com reports that the new film will be directed by The Assassination Of Jesse James director Andrew Dominik, who Pitt worked for in 2007.
The actor will play the character Jackie Cogan in a story based on George V Higgins‘ Boston-set 1974 novel.
Other actors rumoured to be attached to the project include Javier Bardem, Mark Ruffalo, Sam Rockwell, Bill Murray and Josh Brolin.
Despite the story being set in Boston, filming will take place in New Orleans and begins in March 2011.
