Deleted ‘Deadpool 2’ scene where character time-travels to kill baby Hitler to be released

The 'Super Duper Cut' of 'Deadpool 2' comes with 15-minutes worth of deleted footage

The DVD and Blu-Ray release of Deadpool 2 will feature a deleted scene in which Deadpool goes back in time to kill baby Hitler.

The sequel to Marvel‘s 2016 film was released earlier this year. In a four-star review, “Deadpool 2 is the near perfect package, creating a second chapter that maintains the anarchic spirit of the original while offering some surprisingly successful lamentations on the nature of love, loss, and vulnerability.”

The deleted scene was originally intended to form the post-credits footage, as reported back in May, but was cut after being deemed too controversial.

However, fans will now be able to see what was “too much” to be included in the theatrical release of the movie when the “Super Duper $@%!#&” version of the film is released on August 21. The release will include 15-minutes of deleted footage, including the infamous Deadpool vs baby Hitler scene. You can watch a teaser of deleted Deadpool 2 footage above.

Meanwhile, Marvel are reportedly responsible for FX’s Deadpool series being pulled. Donald and Stephen Glover were set to write, executive produce and serve as showrunners on an “animated adult action-comedy series” based on the Deadpool comics.

However, in March, the network released a statement announcing the series was not moving forward, citing “creative differences” as the reason for the project being pulled. Now, FX boss John Landgraf has said Marvel “didn’t want to do the show that Donald and Stephen wrote.”
