Donald Trump’s McDonald’s order is revealed and it’s pretty gross

New book 'Let Trump Be Trump' reveals all

Donald Trump’s regular McDonald’s order has been revealed and it’s a full-on affair to say the least.

The details have emerged in new book Let Trump Be Trump, which was co-written by the President’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and his deputy David Bossie.

Serialised in The Washington Post, the book lifts the lid on the unconventional campaign that eventually saw Donald Trump in the White House.

While Lewandowski’s positive appraisal of his former boss has raised eyebrows for several reasons, it’s the President’s McDonald’s order that has received the most attention.

The book reveals the order as: “Two Big Macs, two Fillet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malted.” Using McDonald’s own Nutrition Calculator, that adds up to a total of 2,430 calories, with 11g of fat. That one meal exceeds the recommended intake of calories and fat for a full day for a man of Trump’s age.

Lewandowski and Bossie added of the candidate’s plane: “On Trump Force One there were four major food groups: McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza and Diet Coke.”

While on the campaign trail, Trump was roundly mocked for posting a picture from his jet of him eating a KFC bucket meal with a knife and fork.

What’s more, the plane was already stocked with Vienna Fingers, crisps, pretzels and Oreos.

According to the authors, Trump once left Sam Nunberg behind during a McDonald’s visit because the staffer’s burger order was taking too long.

Back in December 2015 in the earlier days of the Trump campaign, his personal doctor Harold Bornstein, from Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, described his health as “astonishingly excellent”.

The doctor, who later admitted writing the note after a five-minute assessment, added: “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
