Drake gets Boy Better Know tattoo on his shoulder

Toronto rapper's homage to grime crew revealed on Skepta's Instagram

Drake has further demonstrated his love of UK grime by getting a Boy Better Know tattoo on his arm.

The Toronto rapper has paid homage to grime on numerous occasions recently, inviting de facto leader Skepta onstage during his Wireless Festival headline set during July.

Now Drake has inked the group’s initials (BBK) on his arm, with Skepta capturing the moment with a photo uploaded to Instagram with the caption: “More than music. OVO BBK family for Life.”

Drake recently revealed that he will head back into the studio to finish work on his next album, ‘Views From The 6’.

Performing at Austin City Limits over the weekend, the rapper said that he has finished the music video for recent single ‘Hotline Bling’, which is expected to premiere this week.

Drake also confirmed that his Austin City Limits set will be one of his last gigs of 2015, with the star intending on spending the rest of the year working on ‘Views From The 6’.

Drake also recently teamed up with Beyonce on a new song called ‘Can I’. The song leaked online in its unfinished form back in March, with the full version airing on Drake’s own OVO Sound Radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 station. Drake and Beyoncé previously collaborated on ‘Mine’ from the latter’s 2013 self-titled album.

‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ recently became 2015’s top selling digital album. The record – which was surprise released in February – has sold 951,000 copies digitally, putting it ahead of Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’, Kendrick Lamar’s ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ and The Weeknd’s ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’.
