Elton John reportedly sued for sexual harassment by former security guard

Elton John is being sued by a former security guard for sexual harassment, reports claim. The singer has since denied these claims.

Jeffrey Wenninger, who reportedly worked for the singer up to September 2014, is suing John for sexual harassment and battery following alleged multiple occasions of groping and inappropriate behaviour.

TMZ reports that in the lawsuit Wenninger claims that John “put his hands in Wenninger’s pants” and “attempted to grab his genitals and put his fingers between Wenninger’s butt cheeks”.

The reports also accuse John of telling Wenninger to “get your todger out” and “say hello to Uncle Elton”. On another occasion, John is alleged to have twisted the complainant’s nipples whilst saying “You gorgeous thing, you”.

Meanwhile, Elton John’s photographs from his private collection are set to be displayed at the Tate Modern as part of a new exhibition. The modernist photography show, titled The Radical Eye, will feature more than 150 pieces from more than 60 artists, including Man Ray, Andre Kertesz and Berenice Abbott.

John described it as an “honour” for him and husband David Furnish to loan the images to the gallery, stating: “It is a great honour for David and I to lend part of our collection to Tate Modern for this ground-breaking exhibition.”

Elton John also recently met rapper Young Thug in Atlanta, fuelling speculation of a possible collaboration. The pair previously expressed a mutual admiration for each other’s music.
