Other stars set to appear in upcoming Pixar flicks include Frances McDormand and Neil Patrick Harris
Amy Poehler and Mindy Kaling are to voice roles in a forthcoming Pixar movie called Inside Out.
The ambitious-sounding film will be told from the perspective of the emotions inside the mind of a little girl. Poehler will voice Joy, Kaling will be Disgust, The Office‘s Phyllis Smith will be Sadness, comedian Lewis Black will be Anger and Pixar regular Bill Hader will be Fear.
Up‘s Pete Docter is on board as director and Pixar have set a June 2015 release date.
Meanwhile, John Lithgow will join a voice cast that includes Frances McDormand, Raising Hope‘s Lucas Neff and Neil Patrick Harris in The Good Dinosaur, a movie about a group of dinosaurs who come across the first human. It’s set for release next May (2014) with Bob Peterson, who co-directed Up with Pete Docter, at the helm.
The wave of casting announcements came at the Disney D23 convention in Anaheim, California over the weekend, where it was also announced that Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy have joined the voice cast of Finding Dory, the sequel to Finding Nemo due in 2016.
