‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ preview becomes Marvel’s most viewed trailer ever

First look at eagerly anticipated new film was watched 34.3 million times in 24 hours.

The first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron has become Marvel’s most viewed trailer of all time.

The trailer, which can be seen below, was watched 34.3 million times within 24 hours of appearing online, reports Digital Spy. Of those 34.3m views, 26.2m of those came through Marvel’s official YouTube account.

Marvel’s previously best viewed trailer was for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which was seen 23.5 million times on its first day of release. Iron Man 3 received 23.14 million, while a teaser for the original Avengers gathered 20.4 million.

Marvel’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr, who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk.

Scarlett Johansson also returns as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye with the additional support of Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill. James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Paul Bettany will also appear.

Director Joss Whedon’s Avengers Assemble made over £1 billion at the worldwide box office in 2012. Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released in cinemas April 24, 2015. Watch the trailer below.
