This ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ fan has an interesting theory on the film’s post-credits scene

Who were Nick Fury and Maria Hill on the way to meet?

A fan of Avengers: Infinity War has shared an intriguing theory on who Nick Fury and Maria Hill were heading to meet at the end of the film.

The latest instalment of the Marvel superhero series was released in April last year. In a four-star review, NME said: “This bonkers blockbuster is an entertaining and surprisingly emotional flick that will keep everybody happy.”

Nine months after its release, fans are still unpicking plot details and offering explanations to unsolved mysteries. A Reddit user called freezer_face has now discussed the movie’s post-credits scene, in which Nick Fury and Maria Hill seen are travelling to a meeting before being caught up in a car accident.

“Tell Klein we’ll meet him at–” says Samuel L Jackson’s character before the crash.

According to the online fan, Klein is in fact Cameron Klein – the SHIELD agent portrayed by Aaron Himelstein. The character made his first appearance in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, before returning for Avengers: Age of Ultron. He stood by SHIELD after the organisation were taken over by HYDRA.

In other news, Netflix recently changed the synopsis of Avengers: Infinity War after many fans and viewers took issue with their description of the character Thanos.

The streaming platform’s description of the film originally read: “Superheroes amass to stop intergalactic sociopath Thanos from acquiring a full set of Infinity Stones and wiping out half of all life in the universe.”

However, many fans took issue – arguing that as the plot develops, Thanos doesn’t show the same levels of selfishness, cruelty and a lack of conscience that often come associated with the term ‘sociopath’.

Meanwhile, fans are now eagerly awaiting the sequel, Avengers: Endgame, which is due for release in April.
