Bill Murray did something brilliant for everyone in his section at Chicago Cubs’ Game

The 'Ghostbusters' and 'Lost In Translation' icon seemed to be having a pretty good time

The tales of Bill Murray’s antics during his celebrations following the victory of the Chicago Cubs this week keep coming in, with it now revealed that the screen icon also bought beers for everyone in his section at the game.

This week saw the Chicago Cubs crowned World Series Champions of baseball for the first time in their 108 year history. As Bill Murray’s favourite team, their success saw his celebrations reach fever pitch – with footage and photos of his tearful response to their win, as well as a string of drunk and elated interviews, go viral across the internet.

Now, SB Nation writer Liam Boylan-Pett has revealed that he was set in the same section as the ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Lost In Translation’ actor, where Murray’s good cheer saw him buy beers for all those around him. They also helped him with his selection of pumpkin beer.

In the run-up to the game, Bill Murray not only crashed a White House press conference to speak of his love for the cubs, but has also taken the time to sing to the crowd at a recent game – even with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder. This image however, probably best sums up the mood of Murray after the Cubs’ massive victory earlier this week:
