Breaking Bad has been re-imagined as a Hollywood romantic comedy in a spoof movie trailer. Scroll down and click ‘play’ to watch it.
The fake trailer takes scenes from the hit US drugs drama and sequences them cleverly to suggest a blossoming romance between Bryan Cranston‘s Walter White and Aaron Paul‘s Jesse Pinkman. In the show, of course, the pair are partners in crime but not in the bedroom.
Meanwhile, the real Breaking Bad returned to record ratings in the US on Sunday night (August 11) and now has just seven episodes to go until it reaches its conclusion.
The very last episode is set to premiere on September 29 on US cable network AMC, which has been the show’s home since it began in 2008. UK viewers are able to watch on Netflix, where each episode is being made available immediately after it finishes in the US.
Meanwhile, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has recently given an update on a proposed spin-off show focusing on Saul Goodman, the dodgy lawyer played by Bob Odenkirk. “It’s not a done deal yet, but it’s definitely something we’re full speed ahead on trying to get going,” Gilligan said at the start of July.
