Netflix has confirmed that its UK subscribers will be able to watch Better Call Saul – the Breaking Bad spin-off series centered on Walter White’s dodgy lawyer Saul Goodman – the day after it premieres in the US.

US cable network AMC has previously announced that it will air the first episode of Better Call Saul on Sunday, February 8 – with episode two to follow 24 hours later on Monday, February 9.

Netflix will add episode one to its UK library at 7am on Monday, February 9 – and then add episode two at 7am on Tuesday, February 10. New episodes of Better Call Saul will then be added each Tuesday, the morning after they premiere in the US.

Better Call Saul‘s first season will consist of 10 episodes, and AMC has already commissioned a second season comprising 13 episodes. The spin-off series is being steered by Peter Gould, one of Breaking Bad‘s executive producers, and Vince Gilligan, who created the award-winning drugs drama starring Bryan Cranston. Gould and Gilligan confirmed earlier this month (January) that Cranston’s Walter and Aaron Paul’s Jesse will not appear in season one, but hinted that they could feature in future seasons.

The first reviews of Better Call Saul were posted by US critics at the end of last week (January 23) and are mostly positive.
