Chris Hemsworth shares a new image from the upcoming ‘Men in Black’ movie with Tessa Thompson

"We were ripping aliens a new one," he wrote

Chris Hemsworth shared a new photo from the forthcoming Men in Black movie, which also stars Tessa Thompson as his MIB partner.

The original trilogy began in 1997, and starred Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones as agents J and K, members of a secret Government organisation tasked with tracking down criminal alien life. The original filmed spawned two sequels, in 2002 and 2012 respectively.

The new movie won’t feature Smith or Jones and is said to follow a similar relaunch plan – same premise, new cast – as the Jurassic Park franchise recently adopted with Jurassic World.

Titled MiB: International, Chris Hemsworth will star as Agent H, while Tessa Thompson will play Agent P. Emma Thompson will return as Agent O, while Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall and Rebecca Ferguson will also appear in the film.

Sharing the new image, Hemsworth wrote: “From memory, this shot was taken in between set ups when we noticed some criminal activity on the streets in London. We immediately drew our laser guns and took down one of the largest crime syndicates in the city. Happy to say the streets of London are now safe again. You’re welcome world. #MIBInternational@MenInBlack.” You can see the pic below.

Tessa Thompson has also been teasing the film, sharing a picture of her own on Instagram. “#FBF to me & Chris Hemsworth (the ‘Fred’ to my ‘Ginger’) saving the universe,” she wrote. “YES, even with sand in our shoes. Also, it was casual Friday for the galaxy defenders – that’s why we lost the jackets – which was handy because we were in the Sahara.” See that pic below.

The film is directed by F. Gary Gray, who’s most recent release was Fast & Furious 8.
