Alexandre Aja's fantasy thriller is released in cinemas October 29
Daniel Radcliffe discovers he’s been cast into darkness in a new clip from the fantasy thriller Horns.
Director Alexandre Aja made The Hills Have Eyes reboot and Piranha 3D. His latest scare fest is based on the book by Stephen King’s son Joe Hill and released in cinemas October 29.
Radcliffe plays radio DJ Ig Perrish, wrongly accused of his girlfriend’s violent killing he has become a social pariah in his small American hometown. Ig awakes on the anniversary of Merrin’s (Juno Temple) death to find horns growing from his head.
He discovers they have the ability to drive people to confess their sins and give in to selfish impulses. Ig decides to use this tool to discover the circumstances of his girlfriend’s death and to seek revenge by finding the true murderer. In the clip Ig begs a priest for help who tells him he has fallen from grace and offers to help Ig hang himself.
Speaking about Radcliffe’s character to fans at the San Diego Comic-Con back in August, Aja revealed: “Physically he is turning into the devil but inside he is still himself. It’s the world around him that is turning into hell.”
