'Horns' actor shows surprise skill on 'The Tonight Show'
Daniel Radcliffe rapped the entirety of Blackalicious’ 1999 song ‘Alphabet Aerobics’ during an appearance on The Tonight Show last night (October 28).
Radcliffe admitted during an interview with host Jimmy Fallon that he is a big fan of rap music and particularly enjoys being able to memorise the lyrics to his favourite rapper’s songs.
“I’ve always had an obsession with memorising complicated lyrically, intricate and fast songs I guess,” he said. “It’s a disease.” He was then invited to perform the Blackalicious song, which he did without fault, sending the audience wild. Footage of the moment can be seen above now.
Radcliffe will next appear on screen in the fantasy thriller Horns. The Alexandre Aja directed shocker is released in cinemas today (October 29).
Radcliffe’s character Ig Perrish is accused of the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend Merrin Williams (Juno Temple). Following a night of heavy drinking, Ig awakes one morning on the anniversary of her death to find a pair of horns growing from his head. He discovers they have the ability to drive people to confess their sins and give in to selfish impulses. Ig decides to use this tool to discover the circumstances of his girlfriend’s death and to seek revenge by finding the true murderer.
