Daniel Radcliffe’s ‘The Woman In Black’ lands UK box office top spot

The boy wizard's new horror flick rakes in more cash than 'The Muppets'

Daniel Radcliffe‘s new film The Woman In Black has claimed the top spot in the UK box office chart.

The boy wizard’s latest big-screen outing, which sees him play young Arthur Kipps in the adaptation of Susan Hill’s famous ghost story, took in £3.15 million and beat The Muppets into second place.

The new 3D version of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace was at number three, with rom-com The Vow at number four and last week’s number one, Chronicle, dropping down to number five.
